No Injuries in Tuesday Accident Near Floyd

Floyd, Iowa – On Tuesday at 9:03am, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident at the Highway 18/218 intersection near Floyd.

According to the report, Moses Andrew Yoder of Cresco was stopped southbound waiting in a line of traffic when another semi stalled at the intersection and started backing down the roadway. Yoder then began backing up to avoid being hit by the semi and backed into Kristy Jo Meek who was also stopped and sitting in line.

No injuries were reported.

The Meek vehicle sustained minor damage with no damage to the Yoder vehicle.
