Families Making Connections to hold lunch & learn on Sept. 28th

Charles City, Iowa – Families Making Connections will host a lunch and learn on Wednesday, Sept. 28 the Elks Lodge in Charles City.

The event, open to business leaders, community partners and the public will be a chance to learn more about the organization and how it assists families and children.

Families Making Connections is designed to to bring a variety of community members together to identify the strengths and needs of families and children; identify ways to fill gaps in services for children 0-18; and help make decisions regarding the allocation of resources to families and children who reside in Floyd, Mitchell and Chickasaw counties.

The lunch and learn event will be held on September 28th beginning at 11:30 a.m.
