Osage, Iowa – The trial continued on Thursday for 23 year old Nicholas Lenz who is charged with first-degree kidnapping and willful injury of a woman back in March.

Jurors were shown photos of zip ties inside a camper where the state claims Lenz tied the woman’s feet to a pipe and leaving her there for at least four hours.

The victim testified during this week’s trial that Lenz beat her. The woman was eventually found by authorities and taking to Mitchell County Regional Health, and then later transferred by helicopter to a hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

The trial is being held in Mitchell County District Court in Osage. If convicted on the kidnapping charge, he faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
