Stolen CC Police Badge Leads To Search Warrants & An Arrest

Charles City, Iowa – A stolen Charles City Police badge has resulted in search warrants and an arrest.

Charles City Police say they executed a search warrant at 12:05pm on Wednesday in the 200 block of 10th Avenue where they arrested 33 year old Isaia Weber of Charles City. He was charged with theft and criminal mischief, both charges stemming from the removal of the police badge from the police station last week. A second search warrant was served at the same address for narcotics and related items. Officers did find narcotics along with firearms and other items that they seized from the home with additional charges pending.

Then at 3:52pm Wednesday, officers executed two other search warrants on a home in the 200 block of 1st Avenue where the police badge was recovered along with several narcotics-related items. No arrests were made at that location however several charges involving multiple individuals are pending as the investigation continues into the case.
