2 Hour Parking Limit Being Added On Streets Near Simply Essentials

Charles City, Iowa – At its meeting on Monday, the Charles City Council approved a two-hour parking limit along Lane Street and a portion of Wisconsin Street.

The move came after property owners in the area voiced concerns over the amount of parking spaces employees of Simply Essentials are utilizing.

Also at the meeting, the Charles City Council meetings will be held beginning at 6 p.m. starting January 3rd, rather than 7 p.m.

The regular meetings will be still be held on the first and third Mondays of each month.

Charles City City Hall will be closed on December 26th and January 2nd for the holidays.
