3rd Annual Deer & Turkey Expo Returning To Osage


Osage, Iowa – The 3rd annual Deer and Turkey Expo will be held at the Milton R. Owen Nature Center in Osage will be held on Saturday, February 11th.

Hunters are welcome to bring their stuffed animals or photos the Expo. Animals, sheds and photos don’t have to be from the past year, nor do they have to be from Mitchell County.

Certified scorers will be on hand and will score your animal or shed for free. Judging will take place for biggest buck, tom, shed or matched shed, as well as a People’s Choice for both animals and trail camera photos.

Samples from local lockers will be available and a raffle to win a gun will be held. An archery shoot competition will also be held.

Animals from the 2016 hunting season need to have been cleaned and dried at least 60 days before the event.
