Charles City, Iowa – Today marks the end of the first semester of the school year in Charles City.

Charles City Superintendent Dr. Dan Cox gave an update about the community needs assessment survey which was conducted in November.

Cox said the survey was like a report card for the district and while most feedback was positive, there are areas in which district residents would like to see improvement.

Dr. Cox said the community input helps impact what direction the district will take with the five year strategic plan.

Results of the community needs assessment survey can be found on the school website,

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio.
