Girl Scout Cookie Sales Begin Today

Charles City, Iowa – Today marks the beginning of the 2017 Girl Scout Cookie season.

This year will be the 100th year of the first known sale of cookies by Girl Scouts. The Girl Scouts will also offer a new cookie option, Girl Scout S’mores.

Funds raised through cookie sales will support local projects from building dog parks and community gardens to purchasing toys and essential items to help families in need.

Cost of the cookies are $4 per package and Trios are $5 per package. Customers can donate through the Cookie Share program to send cookies to Iowa military members.

Cookies will be sold through March 19.
