New Hampton’s St. Joseph School Celebrates Catholic Schools Week

New Hampton, Iowa – Students across the area are celebrating National Catholic Schools week, and students and teachers at St. Joe’s School in New Hampton are no exception to the celebration.

Christine Carleton, principal at St. Joe’s, said they have a full week of activities planned.

The week kicked off with an all-school assembly along with a bubble gum contest on Monday. Tuesday’s activities included Wellness Day and healthy snacks in the classroom along with bingo night. Wednesday is pajama day along with fun reading activities planned and Thursday the St. Joe students and teachers will have a trip to the bowling alley. Friday is dress-up day along with an all-school mass.
