4th annual Cedar River Shiver coming up on March 25th

The frigid waters of the Cedar River await those who dare to jump in

Charles City, Iowa – The 4th Cedar River Shiver, sponsored by Charles City Community Revitalization, will be held on Saturday, March 25th beginning at 2 p.m.  The event will be held at the Riverfront Boat Ramp behind the Charles City library and I.C. Church.

Registration is $35.00 per person.

Prizes will be awarded for individual best costume, best costumes of a team, oldest Shiver participant, the farthest traveling participant and new this year, an award for the True Blue Business.

Those not wishing to participate in the plunge, but want to be a “chicken” participant will receive a mug and have a change to judge the participants.

Registration forms are available at the Community Revite Office, 401 N. Main Street in Charles City.
