Benefit for Rudd fire victims to be held Sunday

Rudd, Iowa – There will be a benefit on Sunday in Rudd for the John & Jennifer Brandau Eggena family who lost their barn, livestock and pets in a fire back on January 7th.

Chili, chicken noodle soup, along with cinnamon rolls, bars and more will be served from noon to 2 p.m. at Eden Presbyterian Church, six miles north of Rudd on County Road T-26 or 5 miles south of Highway 9 for a freewill offering.

Those who can’t attend the benefit but would like to help the family can mail their donations to the Eggena Benefit, c/o Eden Presbyterian Church, 3105 Glass Ave., Rudd IA 50471.
