Toeterville, Iowa – Two Mitchell County woman were arrested after sheriff deputies discovered a marijuana growing operation.

Deputies executed a search warrant at 1665 468th Street near Toeterville on Monday where they found baggies of marijuana as well as marijuana seeds, growing chemicals along with equipment used to produce marijuana.

53-year-old Karyl Marie O’Connor along with 26-year-old Amanda Danielle O’Connor, who were at the home at the time of the search warrant, were both arrested and charged with manufacturing controlled substances, a felony, and also possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor.
