Charles City to test tornado sirens today

Public Emergency Warning Siren

Charles City, Iowa – Charles City will be testing its emergency warning sirens this morning and the first Wednesday of the month throughout the spring, summer and fall.

The test will begin at 10 a.m. this morning and last about a minute but would be cancelled if severe weather threatens.

If you notice a tornado siren near you not working while the test is being conducted, contact city hall at (641) 228-3366.
