Comprehensive Systems receives a grant for art classes and supplies

Charles City, Iowa – The Floyd County Community Foundation recently awarded Comprehensive Systems a grant in the amount of $3,000 to help with the purchase of supplies for art classes for their residents.

Floyd County Community Foundation Development Associate Marcie Andrews talks about the grant allocation:

The individuals served by Comprehensive Systems visit the Charles City Art Center every Thursday for classes given by local artist John Guthart.  Andrews said the consumers look forward to their weekly class:

The Floyd County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, a nonprofit organization committed to creating long-term impact in 20 counties in Iowa.
