Charles City 4th of July celebration promises 2 full days of family fun

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City 4th of July celebration is right around the corner with fun planned for the entire family.

The 4th of July celebration will be combined into two days, Monday July 3rd and Tuesday July 4th.

Monday July 3rd will be Kid’s Day with the popular kid’s parade around Central Park. There will be free kid’s games and activities in the park along with the Minnesota Zoo stage show,  food and beverage vendors and inflatables from 2 to 8pm. The night will wrap up with the Uncle Sam Jam that evening with live music by PV & The Phantoms and The Plott Hounds. The Pub Crawlers will open the beer garden that night along with other food and beverage vendors.

Tuesday July 4th will feature the Firecracker 5K/mile race, Independence Day parade, Central Park fun after the parade, food and beverage vendors, beer garden, live music with Endless Summer and the annual fireworks display to wrap up the night.

Forms for the Independence Day parade will be available in mid-June.
