Charles City man gets more charges added relating to burglaries

Charles City, Iowa – Jonathon Goodman of Charles City was arrested early Tuesday morning on a warrant for methamphetamine. Today, new charges are being released in this case.

Along with the drug charge, he has now been charged with three class D felonies. The CCPD Facebook Page says that possession of stolen property and two counts of 3rd degree burglary will be added to the list of his charges.

Goodman also had two misdemeanors put on his name. Criminal mischief in the 5th and 4th degree.

The police say all of the new charges stem from prior burglaries. Goodman is being held in the Floyd County Jail.
