Second Charles City man charged in recent burglaries

Charles City, Iowa – A second Charles City man has been arrested and charged in connection to the recent burglaries at the YMCA and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Charles City Police say 26 year old Justin Gulian was charged with 2 counts of 3rd degree burglary which are both class D felonies, 2nd degree theft which is also a class D felony and 4th degree criminal mischief, a serious misdemeanor.

Police say the charges are a result of the investigation into two burglaries which were reported at the YMCA and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Gulian was also wanted for unauthorized use of a credit card, which is an aggravated misdemeanor.

He’s currently being held at the Floyd County Jail.
