Host of RFD-TV’s “Mollie B Polka Party” to Perform in Clarksville

Clarksville, Iowa – Mollie B, host of RFD-TV’s “Mollie B Polka Party” will be returning to Clarksville for a free outdoor performance on July 9th at 7 pm. She will be joined by the Jim Busta Polka Band in the bandstand at Reading Park, next to the Clarksville Public Library.

Mollie B. has been performing all her life. She started her career performing with the Jim Busta Band. Mollie took on the position as host and co-producer of the Mollie B Polka Party on RFD-TV in March of 2011.

The Mollie B Polka Party airs nationwide in over 46 million homes. Mollie has won the “Favorite Female Vocalist” award numerous times, both from the United States Polka Association and the International Polka Association. Additionally, Mollie has won the “2013 Polka Promoter of the Year” award, from the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame.

A portion of Greene Street adjacent to the park will be closed to accommodate additional seating, as well as an area for dancing. No admission is charged, but donations will be accepted. In the event of rain, the event will be cancelled. You will need to bring your lawn chairs. Food and drinks will be available from the Clarksville High School After Prom Committee. Coolers will not be permitted.


Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
