Not guilty plea in Mason City man’s drug case

Charles City, Iowa – A Mason City man who was arrested in Charles City in May has submitted a not guilty plea.

23 year old Jaiton Mangun was pulled over on May 14th for driving in the wrong lane. Mangun failed a field sobriety test and baggies of marijuana and a digital scale were also allegedly found in his vehicle.

Mangun has pleaded not guilty to a controlled substance violation along with 2nd offense OWI.

He’s set to go to trial on August 17th.
