June 25th Car Crash Kills Baby

Plymouth, Iowa – A two car accident occurred on June 25th on the south side of Plymouth. Two people were injured in the wreck but it has been announced that a one month old baby has died at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

18-year-old, McKenna Blong of Mason City, was driving the car when she ran through a stop sign and was struck by Jack Shade, 53-year-old from Plymouth, in the passenger side of her car.

Blong and Shade were both injured in the crash but 1-month-old, Joseph Ebeling, was airlifted to Iowa City where he was later pronounced dead.

Blong was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio.
