Minnesota Car Accident Claims the Life of a St. Ansgar Man

Zumbrota, Minnesota – A two vehicle crash in Minnesota on Friday night led to the death of a St. Ansgar man.

The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 52 and Highway 57 north of Zumbrota in Minnesota. 22-year-olds Jacob Nelson and Cody Squier were stopped at the intersection, waiting to cross Highway 52. They pulled out but failed to yield and they were struck by a semi.

Squier was killed in the crash and Nelson was injured and taken to the Mayo Clinic-St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

The crash is under investigation.
