Crash at uncontrolled intersection sends 3 people to hospital

Charles City, Iowa – Three people were hurt in a crash in Charles City on Sunday.

Charles City Police say a vehicle hit another vehicle at the uncontrolled intersection of 3rd Street and South Johnson Streets at around 1:40pm.

One person had to be assisted out of the vehicle. Three people were eventually led away by AMR ambulance to the Floyd County Medical Center.

No names have been released.

Charles City Police were assisted at the scene by the Floyd County Sheriff’ Office, Charles City Fire Department, Floyd County Search & Rescue and AMR Ambulance.
