Busy Month of September for Chickasaw County

As the calendar changes to September, it brings with it a list of happenings in Chickasaw County.

Coming up this weekend is the Big 4 Fair in Nashua. Things get kicked off today with events running all the way through Monday night. This Saturday, the Nashua Area Chamber of Commerce is putting on the Best Damn BBQ Challenge. People will be entering from all over the state. The following weekend the local New Hampton Boy Scouts will be hosting the Motorcycle Rally. Jason Speltz, the director of the New Horizons Chamber, says more.

Then starting on Sep. 11, New Hampton High School will begin their Homecoming Week. That week will get kicked off with the Chamber’s golf outing.

The Homecoming Parade will be held on Sep. 14 with the football game the following day.
