Stolen Items from Cerro Gordo and Floyd Counties Recovered

Osage, Iowa – A Charles City woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly stealing items from a couple of Floyd and Cerro Gordo counties.

27-year-old Danielle Jo Calhoun is being accused of stealing a 16-foot car hauler trailer, a 4-wheeler with a trailer and several power and hand tools. These items were found in Pioneer Park in northeast Mitchell County. Methamphetamine, edible marijuana wax, cash and two handguns were also found.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call Wednesday for suspicious behavior and that is when the arrest occurred. Calhoun is now facing felony theft charges with other charges pending.

Authorities have identified other suspects as well.
