Cerro Gordo County, IA – A Mason City man was sentenced prison time after a crime that he committed back in 2015.

37-year-old Christopher Hull was arrested on May 6 of this year for sexually abusing a 10-year-old in June of 2015. He has since pled guilty to lascivious acts with a child.

Hull was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Monday, will have to pay a $1,000 fine and will have to register as a sex offender.

In another Mason City case, 34-year-old Bill Grouette Jr. submitted his plea for a string of vandalisms in April. He has pled guilty to 3rd degree criminal mischief. Grouette spray painted several locations that cost over $1,500 to clean up.
