Hy-Vee Getting in the Halloween Mood

Charles City, IA — Hy-Vee’s 245 stores will host an in-store Halloween Party featuring trick-or-treating and Halloween events on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.

The free event includes coloring activities, cookie decorating and mini pumpkin decorating. The first 100 children dressed in costume at each store will receive a free glow-in-the-dark trick-or-treat bag.

Ryan Parker, Charles City Hy-Vee’s store director, says what will all be going on at their location.

Kids eat free all day with the purchase of an adult entrée in all Hy-Vee Market Grille and Market Grille Express restaurants as well.

Hy-Vee’s annual Halloween Party is a fun, interactive way to provide entertainment and engage families during the fall season. The event also provides a safe environment for children and parents to celebrate the holiday and learn about healthy eating options from Hy-Vee’s dietitians.
