Chickasaw County, IA – New Hampton and Nashua are getting into the Halloween spirit as well with activities that will be taking place over the next two weekends.

New Hampton will be having their Halloween Costume Parade on Oct 28. This starts at 10:30 a.m. Jason Speltz, executive director at New Horizons, says what he expects for a turnout.

There will be prizes and awards for the person who has the best costume.

Nashua will be in on the scares as well. The Spooky Village will be returning for kids of all ages and it will be held at the Old Bradford Pioneer Museum. This will be held this Saturday.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
