Lions Club Book Sale Gets Underway

Charles City, IA – Earlier this week the Rotary Club in Charles City helped plant trees all around the community. Now, the Lions Club will be hosting a Book Sale today and tomorrow that will help with charities and community projects.

The sale started Wednesday night and is running through Saturday at noon. Lions Club’s president, Tad Barry, says more about this sale.

The sale has thousands of books, and is at Schueth Ace Hardware.

The money will be coming right back to help the community. The sale runs today from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to noon.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
