Railroad crossings in Charles City set to close for repairs

This railroad crossing on Brackett Street and another one on 19th Ave will be closed beginning Sunday, October 29th and are expected to reopen by Thursday, November 2nd.

Charles City, Iowa – Brackett Street and 19th Avenue will be closed to traffic at the Canadian National Railroad crossings for the railroad company to work on and make repairs to the railroad crossings.

Both crossings will be closed beginning on Sunday, October 29th and are expected to reopen by Thursday, November 2nd.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas and utilize other routes to bypass the construction areas.
