Building Bridges from Adults to Kids

Mitchell County, IA – There are multiple programs in north Iowa that allow adults to be mentors to young kids who have had tough lives. The Mitchell County Bridges Mentoring Program is one of those organizations.

Lacey Waller, with Bridges Mentoring Program, says more.

The group is always accepting mentors. There is a process that a person interested must go through before they connect with a child.

The program has an event coming up on Dec. 10 called Cookies with Santa. To stay up to date on the organization, follow Mitchell County Bridges Mentoring Program on Facebook.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
