Plymouth Man Booked on Drug Charges

Plymouth, IA – An arrest in Cerro Gordo County on Friday night led to a man being booked into jail with a list of charges.

45-year-old Scott Shafer of Plymouth was pulled over by police at 10 p.m., and this led to his arrest. He has been accused of possession of methamphetamine, possession of contraband, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a denied license, operating without registration and failure to provide insurance.

The arrest took place near the intersection of Raven Avenue and 330th St. in Plymouth. Shafer is currently being held in Cerro Gordo County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
