Nashua, IA – The Nashua City Council saw its second council member resign last week. Both resignations have happened in the last month and a half.

Brenda Roberts submitted her resignation letter two weeks ago, and at last Monday’s meeting, this became official. No reason has been released as to why she is leaving her chair. On Oct. 16, Kyle Lane resigned as well. He was replaced by Kristen Nosbisch after local elections were held earlier this month.

Nosbisch had come in fourth in the elections. Tom Johnson, Scott Cerwinske and Rolland Cagley were the three candidates in from of her.
