Nashua to Host Holiday Events

Nashua, IA – Nashua will be hopping this weekend as the city has a full slate of events for Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus get the day started with their arrival at Nashua-Plainfield Elementary school on a fire truck for crafts and pictures at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. While that is going on, Junk and Jingles will get underway.

Junk and Jingles is where vendors set up shop at locations in Nashua and have antiques, junk and this along that line for sale. Dawn Garbes, involved with Junk and Jingles, says more.

This will be followed by the Homemade Marketplace.

There are a select amount of shops in Nashua, so this day will bring more people to town.

Other events taking place on Saturday are sleigh, a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony and cedar view holiday lights.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
