Christmas Eve/Day Police Report in Charles City

Charles City, IA – Charles City Police responded to several calls on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

A crash at the intersection of Hulin and Wisconsin St. on Dec. 24 received the attention of the CCPD. 35-year-old Jonathan Linde of Charles City was stopped at a stop sign when he pulled into the path of a Chevy Malibu. The driver of that car was 26-year-old Heather Eastvold of Cedar Rapids. Around $13,000 in damage was done. Linde was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.

A Charles City man was also arrested on Sunday. The arrest happened in the 600 block of 11th St. 29-year-old Isaac Brown III was taken in by the CCPD for violating a no contact order.

On Christmas Day, 29-year-old Tasiana Stephens of Charles City was arrested for three valid warrants and operating a vehicle with no valid driver’s license.

A break in in Charles City saw several items get taken from the residency. This occurred in the 100 block of 7th Ave. 46-year-old Antoine Cloyd of Charles City was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
