Mitchell County Employees get Raises

Mitchell County, IA – Some county employees in Mitchell County will see increases in their pay after the county’s board of supervisors approved of this on Tuesday.

The idea for these raises was proposed by the Mitchell County Compensation Board in December. The employees that will be receiving pay raises will land a raise between two and eight percent. Hourly county employees will get a 2.75% raise.

The following people will be receiving raises:

Auditor-Lowell Tesch 3%

Recorder-Pat Skuster 3%

Treasurer-Shannon Paulus 3%

County Attorney-Mark Walk 8%

Sheriff-Greg Beaver 4%

Supervisor-Joel Voaklander 2.02%

Supervisor-Stan Walk 2.02%
