GasBuddy Predicts Jump in Price

Iowa – Driving a car is almost a necessity in this day in age. People have to drive to work, the grocery store and to pick up their kids from school. One source thinks the fuel that makes these vehicles go is going to jump in price in 2018.

According to GasBuddy, they predict that gas is going to jump up 19 cents this year. This will be the highest jump since 2014, although, no record highs are expected.

Bigger cities like Chicago could see a jump to above $3.00 a gallon for gas. GasBuddy has shown a history of accuracy in predicting prices. In 2017 GasBuddy predicted that gas would cost $2.49. The average cost of gas per gallon was $2.39 last year.

GasBuddy recommends that people look around for cheaper prices on gas rather than just going to the most convenient location.
