CCPD Investigate Accident

Charles City, IA – One person was arrested in Charles City on four warrants on Monday morning.

22-year-old Willneisha Hall of Waterloo was taken in by the Charles City Police Department in the 900 block of North Main St. She had four Blackhawk County warrants out for her arrest.

Police also responded to a three vehicle accident on Monday night around 5:54. The CCPD is still investigating this case. 46-year-old Kelly O’Donnell of New Hampton was the driver of a school bus that was parked legally. The report says that the bus proceeded to slide into two vehicles. The owners of those vehicles were 36-year-old Jimmy Cunnings and 52-year-old Anthony Scott. Both of the owners are from Charles City.

No one was in the vehicles at the time of the accident. The CCPD is awaiting surveillance footage before wrapping up the investigation.

$1,000 in damage was done to Scott’s vehicle while $5,000 was done to Cunning’s.
