Charles-City-Comets

The Charles City Comet boys basketball team will be in Decorah tonight for a Northeast Iowa Conference game against the Vikings.  The Comet boys are 9-1 overall this season and are 6-0 in the NEIC while Decorah’s boys are 5-6 and 3-2.  Tip-off for the Varsity game is scheduled for 7:30.

The Charles City Comet girls basketball team will be at home tonight for their Northeast Iowa Conference game against Decorah.  Charles City’s girls are 0-11 overall this season and have a conference record of 0-6 while the Viking girls are 4-10 and 1-5.  The girls Varsity game is also scheduled to start at 7:30.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky girls and boys basketball teams will head to Northwood tonight for a Top of Iowa Conference double-header.  The Nashua girls are 1-12 overall and they are 0-9 in conference games while the Viking girls are 1-10 and 1-8.  The Husky boys come in at 6-6 overall and have a conference record of 4-5 while Northwood’s boys are 1-9 and 1-8.  The girls game will tip-off at about 6:15 with the boys game to follow.

The Osage Green Devil girls and boys basketball teams will head to Manly tonight for their Top of Iowa Conference games against Central Springs.  The Green Devil girls come in undefeated at 12-0 overall and they are 9-0 in conference games while the Central Springs girls are 10-1 and 8-1.  The Osage boys are 8-3 overall this season and 7-2 in league play and the Panther boys are 0-12 and 0-9.  The girls game will get started at about 6:15 and the boys game will begin around 7:30.

The North Butler Bearcat girls and boys basketball teams will be on the road tonight for their Top of Iowa Conference double-header against Mason City Newman.  The North Butler girls come in at 7-4 overall and 5-4 in the conference while the Knight girls are 7-6 and 5-4.  The Bearcat boys have an overall record of 5-5 and their conference record is 4-5 while the Newman boys are 9-3 and 7-2.  The girls game is scheduled to start at 6:15 with the boys game to follow.

The Rockford Warrior girls and boys basketball teams will host West Fork tonight in Top of Iowa Conference action.  The Warrior girls are 3-10 overall and have a TIC record of 3-7 while the West Fork girls are 7-3 and 6-2.  The Rockford boys are 10-3 and 7-2 and the War-Hawk boys come in at 6-4 and 5-3.  The girls game is scheduled to tip at 6:15 with the boys game coming after the girls game is over.
