Basketball With Dark Background On A Wood Gym Floor

The Charles City Comet boys basketball team will be in Cresco tonight for a Northeast Iowa Conference match-up with the Crestwood Cadets.  The Comet boys come in with an overall record of 13-2 and they are a perfect 8-0 in the NEIC while the Cadets come in at 7-9 and 2-5.  You can tune into this game right here on KCHA starting with a pre-game at about 7:15 and tip-off is scheduled for 7:30.

The Charles City Comet girls basketball team will be at home tonight for a non-conference game against Waterloo East.  Charles City’s girls will be in search of their first win of the season as they come in with an 0-15 overall record while the Waterloo East girls are 4-14.  Tip-off for the Varsity game is scheduled for 7:30.

The Osage Green Devil girls and boys basketball teams will be at home tonight for their Top of Iowa Conference double-header against Rockford.  The Osage girls come in unbeaten and have an overall record of 18-0 and they are 14-0 in conference play while the Rockford girls are 4-14 and 4-10.  The Green Devil boys are 12-6 overall this season and they are 11-3 in the conference while the Warrior boys are 14-4 and 11-3.  The girls game will be played first and tip-off at about 6:15 and the boys game will follow.

The North Butler Bearcat girls and boys basketball teams will host a Top of Iowa Conference double-header tonight against West Fork.  The Bearcat girls are 9-8 overall this season and their Top of Iowa Conference record is 7-7 while the War-Hawk girls are 12-6 and 11-3.  The North Butler boys have an overall record of 8-9 and they are 6-8 in conference games while the West Fork boys are 13-5 and 10-4.  The girls game will get started at about 6:15 and the boys game will begin at around 7:30.

The Saint Ansgar Saints girls and boys basketball teams will play at home tonight for their Top of Iowa Conference games against Northwood-Kensett.  The Saint Ansgar girls are 10-8 overall this season and they enter with a conference record of 7-7 while the Viking girls come in at 2-16 and 1-13.  The Saint boys are 9-8 overall this season and they have a TIC record of 6-8 while the Northwood boys are 2-15 and 1-13.  The girls game will tip-off first at about 6:15 and the boys game will follow.
