In a game heard right here on KCHA last night, the Iowa State Cyclone Men’s Basketball team hosted a Big 12 match-up against West Virginia. Days after scoring only 45 points in a loss to Tennessee the Cyclones could not miss against the 15th ranked Mountaineers. Iowa State made 20 of 30 shots in the opening half and finished the game shooting 62 percent in a 93-77 win in Hilton Coliseum.
That is Iowa State coach Steve Prohm who says the key moving forward will be if the Cyclones can be more consistent.
Donovan Jackson led four Cyclones in double figures with 25 points as ISU improves to 3-6 in the Big 12 and 12-9 overall.
Iowa State committed only eight turnovers against the West Virginia press and finished 10 of 18 from three point range.
Next up for the Cyclone Men will be a game at Baylor on Saturday night.
