Court Gavel on desk

Clarksville, IA – Possession of drugs landed a Clarksville man in jail in January. A search of his home would reveal several weapons and federal gun charges came from that discovery. He will now be detained until his trial in April.

53-year-old Keith Haley was pulled over while he had a pipe and marijuana in his possession on Jan. 29. A search of his home revealed that he was also in possession of a .410-bore Savage Shotgun, a .22-caliber Mossberg rifle, a 16-gauge Mossberg shotgun and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Haley was charged with possession of firearms by a drug user. He will remain in police custody until his trial in April.
