Soules gets Appeal Rejected

Northeast Iowa – Chris Soules had appeared on reality television shows, The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars, in the last couple of years. Last year, he got into a two-vehicle accident involving a tractor. The driver of the tractor died, and Soules is now facing a felony charge.

Soules was driving in northeast Iowa when he would strike a tractor. 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher of Aurora was driving the tractor and would die following the accident. Soules would call 9-1-1 and assist Mosher until paramedics arrived but left the scene before law enforcement showed up.

Soules is facing a felony leaving the scene of a fatal accident charge. He had appealed this charge wanting it dismissed. The Iowa Supreme Court rejected his appeal on Friday. This charge could land Soules in prison for up to five years.

No trial date is set yet.

  1. Soules gave the victim CPR until First Responders showed up. He was not intoxicated, I don’t recall if he registered ANY alcohol in his blood. The young man had a terrible accident and made a horrible mistake afterward. Is it possible that he doesn’t deserve prison time? Is it possible he’s being convicted by social media because of his “celebrity?”
