Two nationwide retailers have tightened restrictions on who they are selling guns to following the school shooting two weeks ago in Florida.
Dick’s sporting Goods announced early on Wednesday that they would not be selling firearms to anyone under the age of 21 anymore. The store also announced that they will stop selling assault rifles.
Walmart would follow suit that afternoon by announcing that they would too stop selling firearms and ammunition to people under the age of 21. Walmart also removed items resembling assault-style rifles from their website.
The CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods is demanding tougher gun laws from the NRA. The NRA has had some big corporations cut ties with the organization, such as MetLife, Hertz and Delta Air Lines.
