Ridgeway man facing drug charges after traffic stop

Ridgeway, Iowa – A Ridgeway man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop on Saturday.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Caleb Fenske and a female passenger were stopped early Saturday on Highway 9 near Ridgeway.

It was determined that the female passenger was a protected party in a no-contact order against Fenske.

A search warrant was then executed at Fenske’s residence in Ridgeway.

Fenske was charged with drug distribution to a person under 18, a class B felony; failure to affix a drug tax stamp; operating while under the influence and violation of a no-contact order.

The care remains under investigation.
