Maynard man arrested, facing new theft charges

Maynard, Iowa – A Maynard man who is accused of stealing numerous items from rural homes has been caught.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron James Rochford was arrested on Monday and was charged with second-degree theft and third-degree burglary after he allegedly stole a Polaris Colt snowmobile from a barn, along with taking scrap iron from a vacant building in Stanley earlier this year.

Rochford was arrested earlier this month for allegedly stealing items from houses and a machine shed.
