New Hampton man facing drug charge

Mason City, Iowa – A New Hampton man is facing drug charges after he was arrested at the Mason City KCF on March 21st.

44-year-old Anthony James Green has been charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, 2nd offence, and interference with official acts.

The criminal complaint states that Green was found to be in possession of two baggies containing methamphetamine.

The report states that Green resisted arrest.

Green was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and was released on his own recognizance.

His court date has been set for April 11th in the Cerro Gordo County District Court for the possession charge. He’s pleaded not guilty for the interference charge and will appear in court on September 24th.
