
Mason City, Iowa – A Mason City man who was stopped last month and charged with having various kinds of illegal drugs has pleaded not guilty.
The criminal complaint alleges 45-year-old Christopher Bruce was stopped by Mason City Police back on March 12th for an equipment violation. That stop led to a search in which officers found methamphetamine, cocaine, mushrooms and marijuana. Bruce also had a large amount of cash.
Bruce has pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession with the intent to deliver, two counts of drug possession, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and operating while intoxicated.
His trial will be held May 22nd.
