School board to discuss stakeholder survey; review superintendent candidates

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City Board of Education will hold a few special sessions next week to discuss the latest updates on the Superintendent search.

On Monday, May 7th at 5:00pm, the board will discuss the stakeholder survey report, which was conducted in April to obtain feedback from the public on the desired qualifications in a new Superintendent. After the public portion of the meeting, the board will go into closed session to review the candidates. This meeting will be held in room 108 of the Charles City NIACC Center.

The interviewing of candidates will take place on Thursday, May 10th, beginning at 1:00pm. This meeting will be in room 106 of the Charles City NIACC Center.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio.
