Lions Field Pool Set To Open On Memorial Day

Charles City, Iowa – The Lions Field Pool has announced that they will open for the season on Monday, May 28th, Memorial Day, beginning at 1:00pm.

According to Park and Recreation director Steve Lindaman, with school still in session, the pool will be closed on Tuesday, May 29th and Wednesday, May 30th but will re-open on Thursday, May 31st for the season.

General swim hours are 1:00pm to 7:00pm daily. The pool could close early due to inclement weather or where the water/air temperatures are below 72 degrees.

Season Tickets (with taxes included)

  • *Household – $149.80
  • Individual – $64.20

(* – Household includes everyone living at the same residence and may also include grandparents and babysitters. Base ticket price includes up to a total of 6 people. An additional $25 per person is required over 6 people.)

Daily Admission (with taxes included)

  • Adult – $4.50
  • Junior (18 and under) – $4.00
  • Child (5 and under) – $2.00
  • Punch Ticket (10 punches, good for 30 days from purchase) – $35.00

Hours

  • General Swim – 1:00pm to 7:00pm Daily
  • Family Night – 5:30pm to 7:00pm Sunday
  • Youth Inner-tube Night – 5:30pm to 7:00pm Thursdays
