The Nashua-Plainfield Husky softball team was at Algona Bishop Garrigan last night for a Top of Iowa Conference cross-over game. The Huskies kept it close as they were trailing just 1-0 after three innings, but Garrigan scored nine runs in the next two innings to win the game 10-0 in five innings. With the loss, the Nashua softball team is now 3-6 overall this season and they will next be in action tomorrow night in Northwood.

The Osage Green Devil baseball team was defeated on the road last night at the hands of Garner-Hayfield-Ventura. The Green Devils lost the Top of Iowa Conference cross-over game 10-0. The Osage baseball team is now 3-4 overall this season and they will play again tonight at home against Hampton-Dumont.

The North Butler Bearcat softball team had an offensive explosion last night in their Top of Iowa Conference cross-over game at Lake Mills. The Bearcats won the game 25-3 to improve to 6-3 overall this season. They will play a conference game tonight at Saint Ansgar.
The Rockford Warrior softball team was at home last night taking on North Linn. The Warriors dropped the game 6-3 to fall to 6-2 overall this season. Their next game will be tomorrow night at Algona Bishop Garrigan.

The Charles City Comet baseball team will be on the road tonight for a Northeast Iowa Conference match-up with Decorah. The Comet baseball team is 3-2 overall this season and 2-1 in the NEIC while Decorah comes in at 5-2 and 2-1.
